Jack's Blessing

Here we are in Utah for Nate and Darlene's new baby, Jack's blessing. All of Brian's grandkids were together so we had to take the opportunity to take a million pictures in every position. The kids amazingly did not explode from having to sit still for so long. They all did very well!

These are the "babies". Neve, Emerald and Cooper ( the stinker, it would be way too much to ask for a smile from all three)After the blessing we had a little lunch with our dearest friends and Fam. Thank you Dean and Maria for coming!

Summer is here!!!

Waffles for dinner! All the kids are getting along so well and they can't spend a minute apart. We are trading kids every night so that they can be together as long as possible. It's so fun that everyone has a friend- Mason and Penelope; Anna and Fox; Cooper and Emerald. Little Julia is getting eatin' up by Summer. Shee has been weary of new people until now and she goes right to Summer, loves her.

On a pit stop to the farm we let the kids out of the car and within three seconds they are crawling all over the active railroad collecting "souveniers", all parts of railroad funk. They wanted take it all home but we said a picture will make it last forever and we won't have to wash the rust out of your clothes. They were quite proud of their findings.

Our friend Justin let us come out and visit him on the farm. The kids had a ball feeding the goats and pigs and they all got to ride the horse all by themselves. I think their favorite part was catching the frogs that were hopping all over the garden. It's so fun to see kids with animals. They just buzz with excitment.

Every Saturday in the summertime in Golden they have a farmers market with horse drawn                                 carraige rides that took us around old town.  The kids had a ball!

New Camera!!!

Cooper loves giving his sister rides on the fire engine.
This is what we woke up to the other day in our back yard.We saw him first right in front of the chicken coop but it was before we let them out of the hen house for the day so everyone was safe. He sniffed around our yard for ten minutes or so and saw us gawking at him butit didn't scare him. We will have to keep a watchful eye out!! This picture is taken from our back door.

I'm so excited about our new Camera and I never knew how bad the old one                                                  was until we got the new one and it is a beautiful thing!

Say Formaggio!

Julia's front teeth are coming in nicely and she is always smiling to show them off. She is ten months old this week!

Cooper chose these nice threads for church on Sunday and he was very proud of himself. I was very impressed as well. You bet I let him go to church in those digs!

Chickened!!!

Here are the newest members of our flock!  Yesterday we welcomed chickens to the Stamps house. The boys are so excited. They want to be out in the coop all day chasing, holding, petting, and feeding them.  They just can't get enough and honestly it's hard to resist just watching all they do, especially the mother of the chicks. The breeds we got are white silkie, a black jersey giant, a mixed silkie and an aracona-silkie mix. I can't remember what the momma hen is and  her 6 chicks are yet to be determined. The chicks are just a couple days old. So FUN!!! The eggs will be brown and blue. We should get about 5 eggs a week from each hen and then the chicks will start laying eggs in about 6 months. We thought this would be a great adventure and, needless to say, learning experience for the kids. I'm sure mom and dad will learn a little too.

Utah and Back in 48 Hours

We had a fabulous time in Utah this weekend. It was great to see loved ones!!! We met Nate and Darli at Ikea and got a good shop and visit in. Sarah got to hang out with the girls for a bit. Just like old times but now with more babies in the picture! Thank you everyone for a great time!!!
The reason for the trip was to see Jim Lamb give his great farewell. It was great but we failed to get a picture with him. Even still, we got a photo of the better looking part of the family- Karen and Sid...sorry boys.

Zoo!!!

Cooper is wearing his Yoda cape that our friend Kellye made. He goes nowhere without it.

Fox's class went to the zoo so we met him there and walked around with his class. The boys loved it. The weather was beautiful.ahhhh spring is wonderful! And yes we took a picture of A fox but he was too sly and it didn't turn out. I guess you could say we couldn't get either foxs to sit still for the photo.
